7x Stellar Award winner, VaShawn Mitchell, known for church anthems “Joy”, “Turning Around for Me” and the record breaking single “Nobody Greater”, just released a new urban inspirational groove entitled “Make A Way”.This single ventures into a different lane than what fans traditionally hear from Mitchell, but has all the of legendary makings of a hit that he is known for.

Along with Mitchell, the single’s co-writers include N. Grier, Anthony Jawan McEastland, Karl Jarzhino Daniel, and Marcus Kincy. When asked about the new sound, Mitchell says, “Anyone who knows me, knows that when I typically write music, I create it for the Sunday morning worship experience, and this one is no different. It’s song that I can hear youth choirs around the world singing with the uplifting message to remind listeners that ‘He’ll make a Way’”. When asked about the visual element, he says, “I wanted to go in a different direction visually for this one. It’s been years since I’ve shot a concept video and I welcome the change. Fashion and visual art has always been important to me, and I wanted to allow myself to be even more creative visually with the different scenes, attire and choreography in order to give the world a VaShawn Mitchell they haven’t seen before.”
