DEECO Enterprises to Premiere Yesterday Today Forever on Amazon Prime and Apple TV June 30
A Modern Hip Hop Gospel Film Celebrating Faith, Redemption, and the Unchanging Word of God
DEECO Enterprises, LLC is proud to announce the premiere of its first feature film, Yesterday Today Forever, available on Amazon Prime and Apple TV beginning Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
A bold and contemporary reimagining of Peter’s denial of Jesus Christ and his journey toward redemption, Yesterday Today Forever presents the Gospel through a modern hip hop lens while remaining deeply rooted in Scripture.
The film follows Pete, played by Curtis Nelson II, a strong-willed man who has walked away from his wife, portrayed by Jasmine Burke, and begins therapy with Dr. Johnson, played by Tina Witherby, as he wrestles with the unresolved trauma of losing his closest friend. As Pete uncovers the truth behind a dangerous plot orchestrated by Jason Ricketts, played by John Bentley, he is forced to confront his past, rediscover his faith, and risk his life to continue spreading the Good News.
That closest friend is Jesus Christ, portrayed by Lucius Rouser IV.
Designed for audiences of all ages, Yesterday Today Forever blends contemporary music, hip hop culture, and biblical truth to deliver an inspiring, family-friendly story of faith, hope, redemption, and the timeless relevance of Christ’s message.
The film stars Curtis Nelson II (CSI: Vegas, S.W.A.T.), Jasmine Burke (Beyond the Gates, Saints & Sinners), John Bentley (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Resident Evil: Extinction), Lucius Rouser IV as Jesus Christ, VJ Roberts, Will Oliver, and Tina Witherby.
“The power and impact of this movie, especially in this dark climate we are in as a nation, will hopefully shed some light and give hope to those who are lost,” said writer and producer Domingo Guyton of DEECO Enterprises, LLC. “I pray people will see themselves through the characters on the screen and recognize that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, according to Hebrews 13:8. Although the times are different, His Word never changes, and we can still find the same answers He gave more than 2,000 years ago for the struggles we face today.”
Yesterday Today Forever was written by Domingo Guyton and Siddeeqah Powell (Somebody’s Child) and directed by Ty Manns (My Brother’s Keeper, A Question of Faith).
The film’s original score and sound design were created by Thomas Dawson, Jr., Music Director for the Grammy Award-winning group The Commodores. The 35-song original motion picture soundtrack, composed by Thomas Dawson, Jr., is available now.
